This will be followed by a brief business meeting.

The program will conclude with a 40-minute film entitled, “Yes You Can!” which tells the story of Clevelander Mickie McGraw, who overcame childhood polio and permanent disability to become a pioneer art therapist.  She co-founded the Art Therapy Studio which is still thriving after 45 years and has been a model for others around the world in a wide variety of settings.  The film illustrates the structure and philosophy of the Art Therapy Studio, as well as the creative techniques developed there to help physically challenged people find and restore a unique sense of self through making art.  WRC members will find this educational film encouraging for all, even those without disabilities, leading toward creativity and self expression.

We plan to finish the program by 4 PM.  The Library closes at 5 PM.
